Overview

  • UGB offers Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) through all its Kiosk Centers
  • AEPS is a service offered by NPCI (National Payment Corporation of India) which allows online interoperable financial transactions between banks using the Aadhaar authentication. Any customer having Aadhaar enabled acccounts can perform transactions in their account through any Branch/BC/Kiosk.

Process & Advantages

  • Person intending to do AEPS transaction can approach any of the UGB branches with his/her Aadhaar number
  • Can do Debit / Credit / Balance enquiry transactions in his aadhaar linked account with any AEPS enabled Bank
  • Can operate Aadhaar linked accounts maintained with other banks
  • Since the service is available through Kiosk / BC the services will be available even after Banking hours
  • Can open accounts without submitting physical documents
  • Accounts thus opened will be having e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer)
