The Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Yojana (VCSGY) is a welfare scheme launched by the Uttarakhand State Government to honor and support ex-servicemen, veterans, and their families. The scheme is named after Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali, a notable freedom fighter and military hero from the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, to recognize their contributions and sacrifices.

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance and welfare benefits to ex-servicemen, their families, and the martyrs’ families to improve their quality of life and acknowledge their service to the nation.

Eligibility

  • Permanent Resident of Uttarakhand
  • Must have own/relatives’/guarantors’ land for running the activity and creation of regd. Mortgage. If the land is on lease, the remaining lease period MUST NOT be less than the repayment period of loan
  • Priority will be given to those having degree/diploma or required skill and experience in the desired field
