A Safe Deposit Locker is a secure storage facility offered by banks to protect valuable items such as documents, jewellery, and other personal belongings. These lockers are available in various sizes and provide high levels of security to ensure the safety of your valuables.

Overview

For the safety of your valuables we offer our customers safe deposit vault or locker facilities at a large number of our branches. There is a nominal annual charge, which depends on the size of the locker and the centre in which the branch is located. UGB provide 4 types of Locker in various sizes -

  • Large Size
  • Extra Size

Small: Size A : 125 x 175 x 492, Metro & Urban centres: Rs 1100/- Size B : 159 x 210 x 492, Semi - Urban & Rural: 849/- Medium : Size C:125 x 352 x 492, Metro & Urban centres: Rs 2800/- Size D:189 x 263 x 492, Semi - Urban & Rural: 1700/- Size E: 159 x 423 x 492, Size H1:325x210x492 Large : Size F: 278 x 352 x 492, Metro & Urban centres: Rs 3056/- Size G : 189 x 529 x 492, Semi - Urban & Rural: 2547/- Size H : 325 x 423 x 492, Extra Large Size L: 404 x 529 x 492 Metro & Urban centres: Rs 5093/- Size L1: 385 x 529 x 492 Semi - Urban & Rural: 4075/- Locker rent overdue charge 1st Qtr 10% of annual rent 2nd Qtr 25% of annual rent 3rd Qtr 40% of annual rent 1 Year 50% of annual rent For more than 1 Year Locker to be broken Number of visits of Locker per year 12 visits per year free ; thereafter Rs. 51/- per visit
