Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is a flagship housing scheme launched by the Government of India with the primary goal of providing affordable housing to all eligible urban and rural poor. As per the central budget 2024, under PMAY 2.0, the needs of 1 crore urban poor and middle class families will be met over the next 5 years

The PMAY scheme is divided into two parts: PMAY (Urban) for urban areas and PMAY (Gramin) for rural areas. It focuses on affordable housing, financial inclusion, social empowerment, and sustainable urban development.
