APBS / DBT
APBS is a payment system developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) that allows for direct transfer of funds to an individual's Aadhaar-linked bank account. It facilitates direct benefit transfers (DBT) by ensuring that government subsidies, welfare benefits, and payments reach the beneficiaries in a secure, efficient, and transparent manner.

Direct Benefit Transfer Program aims to transfer subsidies directly to the people through their bank accounts. Benefits from Govt. Departments can received to the accounts of UGB customers, provided AADHAAR number has been linked to Accounts with our branches. Aadhaar Payments Bridge System (APBS) is used for crediting DBT transactions for Government/ Government agency disbursements.
